After five days on the southern coast, we decided we'd had enough of the wind and dust storms that we were getting there, and took off inland again. We stayed 4 days in a charming little town in the Barossa Valley. At this point we were still a full day's non-stop drive away from Canberra. This is a view overlooking the Barossa Valley, South Australia's largest wine district. All the dark green patches in the picture are vineyards.
