The population of this town is now around the 50 mark. It was once a thriving community of 3000 during the early days of Broken Hill. The hotel still works, and I can vouch for that, the beer that afternoon was a welcome relief from the heat. Now it is a mecca for the film industry. Among those filmed here include "A town like Alice", "Mad Max 2", "Hostage", "Razorback", and an assortment of commercials and documentaries.
